For us, the farming life is in our DNA as we’ve been farming this land since 1945 and Warren Farm is now home to the fourth generation of the Small family.

Down on the farm

If you venture down on the farm, you’ll find that it’s home to a thriving livestock business, a luxury Glamping site and we’ve even been used as a filming location on multiple occasions.

Part of our country lifestyle involves regular walks across the open Somerset countryside to enjoy the stunning views, and when we’re feeling energetic, we might go for a hike up through the famous Cheddar Gorge.

We have a commercial sheep flock down on the Farm. The breeds are a mix of Speckle Face and Beulah ewes.

We give our flock of sheep plenty of freedom to graze which helps ensure they remain happy & healthy. We do this by keeping the flock within an easy-care system.

No farming life would be complete without some cows, and we have a whole herd of Aberdeen Angus cross cattle down on the farm.

We farm conservation grade land here at Warren Farm, so we find having a cross breed of cattle is ideally suited to this.
