Welcome to Warren Farm, Somerset; located in the heart of the Mendip Hills AONB sitting atop the world famous Cheddar Gorge, the highest inland cliffs in England.

The family moved here in 1945 and is now home to the fourth generation of the Small family. The farm is run as a family partnership which employs additional help when required during the year. It is home to extensive livestock businesses, a Glamping site and filming locations.

We’re a favoured location for glamping in Somerset, and offer the perfect family holiday for families looking for an authentic farm stay experience. We also host many country weddings and events here too.

Well what can we say… warren farm was truly the perfect wedding venue for us! We had the most perfect stay! Sole use of the site made preparations really easy and stress free. Kate and James couldn’t have done any more to help us have the best day possible. All our loved ones young and old loved their cabins and canvas units, with all needs thoroughly met!. A highlight for our children was getting up close and personal to the very characterful animals! (There’s even a chicken on my daughters lap in our group photo!)
The views and scenery and stunning and the little touches everywhere you look truly make it a magical Mendip place to stay. We are already planning a return visit! Highly recommend, you won’t want to go home!

The farm is situated in the country, away from the hustle & bustle, where only the sound of birdsong and occasional nearby cow can be heard.

About Warren Farm

Warren Farm, Somerset has several SSSis’ (Special Site of Scientific Interest) on it and is linked to the Cheddar Gorge complex.

We also have the remains of a large Roman Town. It is natural for us to enter into and be part of Environmental schemes which are administered by Natural England as this fits with our beliefs of environmental stewardship alongside food production.  We also work in partnerships with a host of Wildlife groups and landowners seeking to achieve Agri-Environmental gains.
